Redundancy is a difficult time. Building Recruitment provides one-on-one career transition support. Through our experience in career transition, we are able to assist our candidates and better prepare them for the next chapter in their life. It is our mission to help these candidates better prepare for the road ahead, giving them the tools to understand who they are, what is their direction in life, and secure new employment in a role that they will enjoy. We will help make this transition period as easy as possible. We believe it is important to first help the candidate understand their strengths, goals and desires and from that platform we tailor our service to meet their individual need.
Building Recruitment has established a network of HR Industry specialists. Where required we will provide the experience of these companies.
We believe it takes more than just a few sessions to assist in this transition. Our Advisors work with each candidate separately, holding them accountable to moving forward.

- Keep them moving - Give them a sense of direction and make them responsible to be independently moving forward.
- Accountability - Be equally supportive, but demanding, holding them accountable, if they agreed to do something, ensure they do it.
- Focus - Many take the opportunity to do catch up around the house - take a holiday etc, this can be dangerous, lack of urgency quickly becomes the norm. We will help them remain focused.
- Be a friend - Help provide support through this difficult time, face reality, but provide strength and reassurance.
- Skills - Provide the skills needed to move forward confidently.

Developing an effective professional resume that sells, incorporating key achievements
Introduction letter writing.
A Candidates Resumes is the most important document they create. The Resume can determine the difference between securing an interview opportunity or not. We will help the candidate create a Resume which sells who they are and their employment achievements.

Individual Interview preparation and training
Training in job interview skills, including body language, NLP and building rapport.
Building Recruitment provides individual and group training. We will create a program that suits the needs and skills of each individual. Helping them better control their projected perception, through understanding the interview questions and environment, also helping the candidate to assess the personality type of those involved in the interview process. We will create mock interviews, and train in telephone skills

Building Recruitment will help the candidate identify and understand their strengths. Once this is achieved, we will help the candidate recognize career opportunities and begin that journey with them. The candidate will be provided with resources which they can utilise well beyond the training program.

Any environment of change can produce stress, especially when it is employment related. We will identify key issue areas with the candidate, and set a structured program in place to set out the relevant goals and objectives, and the strategy to reach them.

We offer candidates support in their job searching. We will meet with the candidate to discuss possible opportunities, helping them identify roles and creating the application.

Reverse marketing can be an effective way to get your Resume out into the market. We will help the candidate work through the right information to send, along with identifying the best person within an organization to approach.

Through times of financial stress, it is important to plan your financial direction. We help our candidates assess their personal financial situation, and then provide a budget to best suit their current situation. The candidate may be able to apply for government support etc.
